Marcus Orlob

Biography

Marcus Orlob was born and raised in Düsseldorf, Germany, where he developed his passion and foundation for the sport of Dressage.

As a Junior and Young Rider, Marcus successfully competed across Europe and later advanced his own horse through the levels, making a triumphant Grand Prix debut at just 21 years old.

From a young age, he had the privilege of studying and training under Hubertus Schmidt, one of Germany's top Dressage professionals.

Alongside his experience with Hubertus, Marcus also acquired extensive knowledge during a three-year tenure as a working student with Johan Zagers, a renowned international trainer and coach for the Brazilian Olympic team.

After completing his apprenticeship, Marcus earned the Bereiter F.N. title from the German Riding School in Warendorf, Germany.


Philosophy

Marcus excels in meticulous attention to detail, test riding, and enhancing the performance of both horse and rider. His instructional approach is coherent and structured, focusing on proper and equitable training in line with the Dressage training scale, while always aiming to achieve his students' objectives.

Marcus possesses a talent for assessing horses at various levels and devises a tailored riding and training regimen to maximize each horse's full potential.

A recipient of USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals, Marcus has a track record of success in national and international competitions, including the Grand Prix, where he consistently ranks among the top riders.
